Are you spending this fine saturday morning CAD’ing a robot? I know the POBots are! Here in the shop, every member is hard at work and having a great time learning, building, and designing.
This week, the POBots have accomplished a lot.
In mechanical, we’ve accomplished finalizing a design and have started to assemble the chassis. One of our talented members who led the construction of the field elements, Amanda Futterman, says: “It was a good project to teach new members the basic skills needed to help with building this year’s bot”.
Over in Analytics, Spike Ramhap has been assembling fake data and re-assessing our system to ensure this years success!
A new feature we have used is a production board.On that board information such as certain parts that need to be manufactured are on that board to ensure an organized construction.
Over in programming, things are getting exciting! The members are very enthusiastic and have so many wonderful ideas to best program this robot.Our wise, experienced mentors are always in the shop giving plenty of useful advice. Mentor Justin Melinsky states: “Good analysis leads to good robots”.We love Justin. Keep doing you, homie. Overall, the POBots are exceeding expectations and are doing amazing.
